Santa Clara, July 21, 2021 – In partnership with Prometheus Apartments, JW House announces Prometheus Family Suite – A JW House Program which will serve as an extended-stay “home” for families with a loved one in treatment at a Silicon Valley hospital.
Prometheus Apartments, the largest private owner of multi-family properties in the San Francisco Bay Area, is donating $25,000 toward an apartment that will be part of JW House’s existing Overnight Stay program. JW House is a “home away from home” that provides support services to families experiencing a medical crisis, and their Overnight Stay program offers housing accommodations at complimentary or subsidized rates.
Prometheus Family Suite – A JW House Program, located five minutes from Kaiser Permanente’s Santa Clara Medical Center, will specifically accommodate caregivers who require long-term housing of anywhere from two weeks to two months. The project comes in response to the ongoing need from JW House guests, who are typically limited to a five-night Overnight Stay to accommodate more families. 
To give guests one less thing to worry about, the apartment will come equipped with everything a family might need, from dishes and cookware to warm blankets and pillows. Guests staying at Prometheus Family Suite – A JW House Program will also have free access to JW House’s Day Use and Dinner Is Served programs.
